Bank of Hawai‘i’s College Assistance program pays full tuition for its employees to graduate from college. Linda Yoshimoto, the company’s Kapolei branch manager, recently received her diploma from Cham- inade University. She ob- tained a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a mi- nor in history while con- tinuing her job at the bank. Yoshimoto graduated with honors and is the 20th grad- uate through the bank’s col- lege assistance program ... West O‘ahu students have been studying hard and it’s been paying off. Waipahu’s Ashley Valois was named to second honors on Clark University’s fall dean’s list and Karlee Rose Mand- ing received a bachelor’s in nursing last fall from South Dakota State University. Meanwhile, Kapolei’s Ve- ronica Cunitz was named to University of Mississip- pi’s fall 2022 honor roll list and Jabrien Urbano quali- fied for Seton Hall Univer- sity’s fall 2022 dean’s list.
