acred Art Tattoo and Coffee Bar Ka- polei is an eclectic space with lots of natural lighting, walls covered in tattoo
art and an attached coffee bar that’s just as cool. The company has been in business since 1992 and opened in Kapolei in January. With six other locations on O‘ahu, a unique tattoo and piercing experience is offered at each.
Its Kapolei venue is the second locale to also offer a coffee bar.
“Coffee and tattoos go hand-in-hand,” says manager Carolina Tuzzio. “There’s a lot of time spent waiting while people get tattoos. Customers normally have to go somewhere else to eat or grab a snack.
“We wanted to make this a cool environ- ment where you can hang out, eat or drink coffee while you’re waiting, and even bring your friends and family,” she adds.
The coffee bar offers locally roasted coffee from ChadLou’s Coffee Roasters in Kailua.
“One of the most popular drinks on the menu is the ube latte because of its aesthetic and taste,” says Tuzzio.
