HIS Hawai‘i teamed up with Captain Cook Resorts, a lo- cal real estate and vacation rental management compa- ny, to supply its guests with a live chrysalis gift box. Ac- cording to the company, Par- adise Monarchs has released nearly 10,000 butterflies into the wild since its September 2020 inception ... Deaglan McClean has joined Par Hawai‘i as vice president and general manager of its Kapolei refinery. They are Kaua‘i’s Emma Bur- gess and Nathan Maczka, Hawai‘i Island’s Torrance Satta-Ellis and Maui’s Timothy James Heile. Each student received $1,500 as well as $250 to donate to an academic department or nonprofit of their choosing. The students selected Keala Foundation, Kaua‘i Native Plant Society, the sociology department at Konawaena High School and Westside Hoops Maui.
