members of the community to enjoy, Caro- lyn Mahealani Cornwell Cabais developed a taste for the family business.
“(My grandmother) went driving around going house to house, with my mom by her side,” Cornwell Cabias says. “She passed the recipes on to my mother, who passed them on to me.
“Eight years ago, my mom wanted to start this business — it was her dream. Shortly after, she passed away; this month will be five years. Then a year later, my grandmother passed. It was a tough time for me, but I kept the business going in honor of my mother and grandmother. I started really getting things together four years ago.”
