Computer Skills Within Reach
A pilot program that offers free three-hour digital readi- ness classes to the public has been extended through Sep- tember.
The classes are open to Hawai‘i residents 18 years or older and are designed to help pupils with limited or no computer knowledge. Classes will be available at Waipahu, Nānākuli and Wai‘anae public libraries and are taught by University of Hawai‘i Community Col- lege instructors.

The program is a part- nership between the UHCC system, Workforce Devel- opment Council and state library system. More than 200 students have already increased their digital skills through these classes.
