n the summertime, Blood Bank of Ha- waiʻi typically sees a dip in donations, which is why the organization is asking
residents to stop by its only Westside loca- tion at Waikele Center to boost its supply — especially now that hurricane season has begun, hospitals are busier than ever and im- ports are not available from the mainland.
“We are grateful for Waikele Center’s management team for allowing us to host our blood drives all these years,” says COO Todd Lewis. “We encourage all healthy do- nors to roll up their sleeves to help Hawaiʻi’s patients.”
“Waikele Center is committed to serving the community, adds Pam Wilson, general manager of the property. “We have found our long-standing partnership with Blood Bank of Hawaiʻi to be reciprocally reward- ing.
