Hawaiian Humane Society Announces Westside Location
According to Hawaiian Humane Society, two-thirds of Oʻahu pet owners live on the Westside — which is exactly why the nonprofit is opening a second location in ‘Ewa Beach within the next couple of years.
“As we work toward creat- ing a truly humane communi- ty based on compassion and shared responsibility for the welfare of our island’s ani- mals, we envision a commu- nity in which every pet has a home; a community in which people highly regard and care for their own animals and all animals on Oʻahu,” states president and CEO Anna Neubauer.
• Pet lost and found
• Animal admissions
• Adoptions
• Pet Kōkua outreach pro-
like obtaining food or spay- ing or neutering their pets — further reason for Hawaiian Humane Society to expand its services.
“Our ʻEwa expansion will help us bring much-needed services and resources to an underserved part of the is- land.”
