Scholarship Paves Way For Students
Paubox, a provider of HIPAA-compliant email and online forms founded by Hoala Greevy, recently recognized eight recipients of the Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship at its third annual networking event. The scholarship was created in 2019 to encourage Native Hawaiian students to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) by providing $1,000 each year until graduation. Organization Donates $1.4 Million To UH
Hawai‘i Pacific Foundation, an organization whose mission is to empower Native Hawaiian communities, recently distributed $1.395 million to more than half a dozen programs at University of Hawai‘i at
Mānoa. Among the benefactors is UH’s Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health, which received $380,500 from the nonprofit to support its Ke A‘o Mau initiative.
