Set to release this fall, the comedy-horror Netflflix series Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as protagonist Wednesday Addams, who attempts to master her emerging psychic abilities while trying to solve a mystery that involves her parents. Directed by Tim Burton, the show also features Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán and this actress who played Wednesday Addams 1991’s The Addams Family.
Tessa Thompson has signed on to headline in Ash, a sci-fifi thriller directed by rapper/fifilmmaker Flying Lotus, aka Steven Ellison. The fifilm, which is based on an original screenplay by Jonni Remmler, will feature Thompson’s character waking up on a distant planet to fifind the rest of her space station crew viciously murdered. Filming is set to begin next year in New Zealand. Also starring in the movie is this actor known for his roles in Inception and Snowden.
While there’s no official release date for season five of the FX’s Fargo, we’re learning more about who’ll be in it. Jon Hamm of Mad Men makes his television return alongside
Juno Temple and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Joining them on this series inspired by the Coen brothers’ movie will be Lamorne Morris, Richa Moorjani and this actor, who found himself
playing the reluctant babysitter on Stranger Things.
Twenty-two years ago this week, Almost Famous hit the theaters. The American comedy/
drama film follows the adventures of a teenage journalist who’s tasked to write a Rolling Stone magazine article on rock band Stillwater. It stars Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Philip Seymour Hoffman and this blonde actress who credits the movie, in which she plays a character named after a Beatles song, as her breakout role.
