The upcoming sci-fifi fifilm Distant is about Andy (played by Anthony Ramos), an asteroid miner who fifinds himself crash landing on an alien planet. While there are more than 3,000 species of mosquitoes in the world, only certain kinds can cause serious diseases. Take precautions by using insect repellent outdoors and removing any standing water from your yard.
