Aaron Ramirez is director of project controls with Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation. He will oversee all project control staff, both city employees and consultants. Ramirez has 25 years of project and construction management experience. He was previously senior adviser and consultant to Alyeska Pipeline Service Co.’s operations and maintenance division for the 800-mile Trans Alaska Pipeline System.
Lynnette Hasegawa is director of finance for the Honolulu Community Action Program Inc. She will oversee all aspects of HCAP’s fiscal operations and work closely with the program’s board of directors. She was previously assistant vice president and controller for Pacific Guardian Life Insurance Co.; controller for the YMCA of Honolulu; and controller for Hawai‘i State Teachers Association.
Tate Castillo joins Goodwill Anderson Quinn & Stifel as an associate attorney. He will focus on corporate and insurance regulatory law, with an emphasis on captive insurance. He will also assist the firm on corporate governance issues and operational and transactional business matters. Castillo was a clerk for Judge Lawrence Reifurth at the Hawai‘i State Intermediate Court of Appeals.

Tawana Scott rejoins DTRIC Insurance as vice president of commercial lines. She will oversee the company’s commercial lines, risk consulting and reinsurance departments, a position she held from 2017-2019. She was most recently vice president of commercial insurance products and underwriting for SageSure Insurance Mangers, where she launched the start-up of the company’s commercial lines insurance.
Robert Walker has been promoted to administrator of primary care services for Queen’s University Medical Group. He will oversee the management of the clinical and support departments of primary care physician offices, and streamline and standardize operations, among other duties. He was previously manager of The Queen’s Health Care Centers in Kāhala, Kaimukī and the Ala Moana obstetrics and gynecology department.
Briana Greer is an interior designer with architectural design firm G70. In this position, she will focus her work on space planning and product specification, as well as interior space renderings. Greer was recently recognized for her work as CEO and founder of LEI Kaua‘i, which facilitates a collaborative learning environment for local women entrepreneurs on the island.
