Charlene Nakamura is complex director of sales for Hilton Hawai‘i properties, including Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikīkī Beach Resort and Hilton Waikoloa Village. Her responsibilities include driving group sales, developing strategies and leading the teams at both properties. She previously worked for Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
Warren Keone Altona has been named regional manager of East O‘ahu and Maui at Hawai‘i State Federal Credit Union. Prior to joining the credit union, Altona spent more than 15 years at Bank of Hawai‘i, where he held several executive positions, including his most recent position as market manager and vice president.
Jaime Green has joined the board of directors for Hale Kipa. Green is a graduate of ‘Iolani School, Brown University and University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law. Green focuses her career on child advocacy to improve the system as whole. She has also worked for Project Visitation and state Sen. Suzanne Chun Oakland.

Retired Capt. Jack Laufer, U.S. Coast Guard Reserves, rejoins the board of directors of USS Missouri Memorial Association. Laufer previously served from 2014 to 2020, and now will be on the finance committee. He retired in 2010 from the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves as the deputy chief of staff/senior reserve officer of the 14th Coast Guard District in Honolulu.
Carol Ono is senior vice president and division manager, workforce services division at First Hawaiian Bank. She oversees the operational human resources key functions of payroll, compensation and benefits, and manages employee services for over 2,000 employees in Hawai‘i, Guam and Saipan. She joined the bank in 1988.
Jeffrey McKean has been appointed project director at WATG. In this new role, McKean will manage project scope and schedule, oversee the production and coordination of design and construction documents with the design team, working closely with clients and specialty consultants. He is a licensed architect and contractor.
