Leeward CC Teacher Education Programs Lead The Nation
Leeward Community Col- lege has much to celebrate. It’s the first community col- lege in the United States to earn a full seven-year ac- creditation from the Associ- ation for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation. The recognition is for two credentials in the college’s teacher education program: the Alternative Certification for Career and Technical Education and the Advanced Professional Certificate in Special Education.
