 New Year Rings In Slew Of New Laws For Honolulu, State
New year, new laws. State House Speaker Scott Saiki released a list of more than a dozen state laws that went into effect as of Jan. 1. They cover everything from fire- works and tobacco to driver’s licenses and catalytic converter thefts. What follows is a rundown:
 • Fireworks (Act 47, SLH 2022) This law requires the audi- tor of fireworks and articles pyro- technic records for each county fire
• Tobacco Taxes (Act 15, SLH 2022) This law repeals and elimi- nates vendors’ deferred payment purchase option for cigarette tax stamps and requires them to pay at the time of purchase using cash, certified check or bank transfers.

Pair Wins 2022 Vans Pipe Masters
