• ALL MIX UP The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Department of Theatre + Dance, along with Kennedy Theatre, will highlight the Asian American experience in Hawai‘i and beyond with the season opener of Chinee, Japa- nee, All Mix Up. The performance will take place 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21- 24 and then at 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at Earle Ernst Lab Theatre, located at 1770 East-West Road. Tickets range from $8 to $18. • ONLINE TRIBUTE Kumu Kahua Theatre and Keakalehua Playreading Hui are hosting an online tribute to the late play- wright and actor Peter Charlot at 5 p.m. on Kumu Kahua Theatre’s Facebook Live page. Charlot was the founder of Hawai‘i’s Alliance for Arts Education; commissioner for Culture & the Arts, Honolulu; and director of Honolulu Theatre for Youth. Artists from the com- munity will share readings, live performances and clips from his works throughout the years. Visit kumukahua.org.
• FOOD DRIVE The Honolulu Lions, Rotary and Kiwanis clubs will be collecting food donations in front of the Hawai‘i state Capitol (415 S. Beretania St.) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s all part of Hunger Ac-
tion Day (Sept. 23), and the com- munity is encouraged to stop by and drop off canned meats, canned veggies, canned fruit, canned meals and bags of rice. The donations will benefit the Hawai‘i Food Bank. Visit hawaiilions.org.

• TERROR PLANET Koa Theater’s Skeleton Key Hawai‘i haunted attraction (780 S. Be- retania St.) returns for its fifth year of Halloween scares. This
year’s theme, “Terror Planet” will take participants into a seeming- ly peaceful neighborhood ... but things quickly become eerie when strange hovering lights, unmarked helicopters and unnerving men in black appear without warning. This chilling event runs Oct. 7-29. Visit koatheater.com.

• PETWALK The Hawaiian Humane Society’s annual fund- raising event returns to Kapi‘olani Park from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 29. Honolulu residents can compete in pet (and people) costume contests, check out local vendors and more. In preparation, Hawaiian Humane Society encourages animal lovers to create a personal online fund- raising page. Registration is $25 and includes a commemorative T-shirt.
