Pan-Pacific Festival
The 34th annual Pan-Pacific Festival celebrated its opening reception June 7 at Pacific Beach Hotel. The three-day event consisted of performing arts showcases throughout Waikiki and Ala Moana Center. The performances featured traditional Japanese song and dance, hula and other cultural presentations from more than 25 groups from Hawaii and Japan, culminating in a Pan-Pacific Parade down Kalakaua Avenue.
