’Olelo Offers Local TV Classes

Area residents may take an eight-week TV production class right in their own back yard, starting April 4 in Kahuku and April 24 in Wahiawa.

The first course will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays in Room Z-3 at Kahuku High School, location of the Kahuku Community Media Center. Additional editing and shooting time also is required. The goal is to prepare those who want to produce original, non-commercial television programs for cablecast on ‘Olelo Community Television channels. No media experience is required. Topics include Producer, Camera and Final Cut Pro editing. Fee is $150, but it’s free to current Kahuku High students.
