Oh, baby! Ohana Daze is your one-stop shop for anything and everything baby, and it makes the joys of parenthood just a bit easier for those moms and dads juggling a number of responsibilities. Scott Miyagi owns this baby goods store, which opened its first location in the Town Center of Mililani (95-1249 Meheula Parkway) in November 2003, and its newest location in Harbor Center in Aiea (98-029 Hekaha St.) this past March.

“We cater to the on-the-go parent looking for the best items for their newborn and toddler,” says Miyagi. “We look for and carry things that you can’t find just anywhere, but they are all items that make life easier for parents and more comfortable for baby.”

Ohana Daze carries car seats, strollers, infant and toddler feeding toys and systems, breast pumps, baby carriers, baby shoes, educational DVDs, mobiles and kids gyms. For toddlers, you’ll also find toilet training tools, Thomas the Tank Engine Wooden Railway items and more.

“Our price range is really wide – you can get a pair of mittens for 99 cents or our best stroller for $519.99,” Miyagi explains. “We strive to have great products for keiki that you can’t find just anywhere. We want you to have that great baby shower gift or new baby gift that’s going to catch everyone’s attention.

“Most of all, our products have been field tested by one of our staff, family or friends,” he adds. “We want to make sure you’re buying something that works, is high quality and, most importantly, is safe for your child. We won’t sell something we haven’t tried on one of our own kids.”

While the main premise of the store highlights baby goods and accessories, Miyagi also carries a specialty line of T-shirts from All In Clothing and Kozo Kreations in his store, and throws his own T-shirt designs into the mix from time to time.

“Our biggest adventure right now is getting the second store up and running,” Miyagi states, “but the main reward of having the business is just the satisfaction of knowing we’ve worked hard to provide quality service and products in the baby marketplace.”

Ohana Daze’s Mililani location is open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays. The Aiea location is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. For more information, visit ohanadaze.com.
