Nature Inside And Out At Ho‘omaluhia Gallery

The annual exhibition, “Nature Through Art,” will open April 1 at Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden gallery, where artists will display and sell their vibrant oil, pastel and watercolor creations of landscapes, flowers, island portraits and more.

Featured artists are Carky Ainley, Candace Fenander, Sooki Kim and Jeanne Snell, with additional water-colors by Rowena Liu’s former students Jane Carlile, Noel Fishman, Estelle Suzuki, Katherine Finch, Betty Fullard-Leo and Ichiko Haberlin.

A reception is set for 3 to 5 p.m. April 14 in the gallery at the park’s visitor center, where guests can discuss the paintings with the artists themselves. Refreshments and additional unframed paintings and postcards will be available at “very affordable prices,” according to Snell’s website. The show runs through April 29.
