Overall, what did you think?

Overall, I thought the movie was awkward.

Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?

The first dance scene in the club.

On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?

★.

What did you think of the cinematography?

I thought the movie was filmed very well and had a different story than a typical dance movie.

I just thought some scenes were awkward because the characters would try to be sensual but dance at the same time.

Was the message/theme clear?

Yes. (The theme of two worlds coming together through the medium of dance was clear.)

Did it remind you of any other works of film?

It was very similar to some of the past “dance” movies.

Who would you recommend this movie to?

I would recommend it to dancers who would appreciate the quality of dancing more than the story.

Did any of the actors stand out?

Derek Hough. He is a very talented dancer, handsome and, surprisingly, a natural actor.

Did you identify with any of the characters?

No, because it was more about dancing in a club than anything.

Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film?

Yes! The music had to be good for the dancing to really pop!

Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD?

No.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

My favorite snack is Muddy Buddies.

On a different note, what’s new with you?
