THREE GAP INC. BRANDS TO OPEN IN KAPOLEI

Ka Makana Alii, the 1.4-million-square-foot regional mall being built in West Oahu, has announced the addition of three Gap Inc. brands — Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic — to its growing list of tenants.

Ka Makana Alii, located at the intersection of Kapolei and Kualakai parkways, will be only the second shopping center in Hawaii to offer all three retailers under one roof. Old Navy is expected to occupy 12,500 square feet in its fourth Hawaii store, while Gap’s fifth Hawaii store will be 7,200 square feet. Banana Republic will open a 6,500-square-foot store, its sixth one in the state. These will be the first West Oahu stores for all three retailers, which will offer women’s, men’s and children’s apparel, as well as footwear and accessories. When complete, Ka Makana Alii will feature more than 150 shopping, dining and entertainment offerings, two hotels and LEED-certified office space.

Other national retailers that have secured space at the new mall are Macy’s, H&M and Forever21.

The first phase of Ka Makana Alii is scheduled to open in 2016. For more information, visit kamakanaalii.com.
