Overall what did you think?

I absolutely loved this movie. It was so cute! I grew up loving the story of Snow White, and this movie was a nice twist of the story.

It kept me entertained and laughing throughout the whole movie. I loved the costumes!

Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?

One of my favorite scenes was when the queen was receiving her “beauty treatment” evil-style, before the ball. They made a mud mask from bird droppings, and they even used bees to sting the queen’s lips to make them plump. The process was something I would not want to do, but it was definitely fun and entertaining to watch.

On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?

I would give it ★★★. There could probably have been a little more action in the movie, but the humor was great!

What did you think of the cinematography?

I thought that the images that showed up on the screen were gorgeous! It was creative and showed a different kind of magical kingdom.

Did you identify with any of the characters?

I would say Snow White, because throughout the movie she is a strong character who believes in herself, perseveres and tries to do good for all around her.

Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film?

I will have to say no. To be honest, I don’t quite remember any exact music in the movie, probably because I was laughing too much.

Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD?

Yes, I would. I have three sisters, and we have all grown up loving the classic Disney princess stories, so I’m sure they would enjoy it as much as I did.

What’s your favorite movie snack?

Anything with chocolate … Well, I guess that’s any snack, not only at the movies.

On a different note, what’s new with you?

As president-elect for the Iolani Key Club, I am looking forward to flying out to California this week to the California-Nevada-Hawaii District Convention.

I will be a judge in the high school division for Brown Bags to Stardom on April 21. I also just found out that my national competition for Miss Teen USA will be held in the Bahamas on July 28! I look forward to representing Hawaii there this summer!
