Kalaheo High PTSA’s Spring Fling from 4 to 8:30 p.m. May 8 is exactly that: The scholarship fundraiser has it all — from a student dodgeball tournament to food trucks and local rock music.

And perhaps the most exciting news so far: The silent auction has received a Marcus Mariota football for the cause. Supporters also can bid on Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii tickets, massages, guitar lessons, ribbon leis, Jams shirts, Island Girl sunglasses, a coffee basket and more.

The second annual “Dollars for Scholars” benefit has live music by Dread Ashanti, Cov3r5 and Kalaheo alumnus Stephan Kane, plus a dunk tank, bake sale, crafters, and more, with all proceeds going into the scholarship fund.

Booth spaces are still open for craft and food vendors, who may email ptsakalaheo@gmail.com.
