Overall what did you think? I loved the movie. It had a great beginning and told the story very well. I loved that they used flashbacks of his childhood instead of starting all over from the beginning.

Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes? Favorite scene is when Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) tried to save a worker in a huge fire and just ripped off the door while covered in flames!

On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film? ★★★★

What did you think of the cinematography? I was amazed at how real everything looked. Even the fight scene, when Superman and the enemy were fighting, looked so real.

Was the message/theme clear? Yes, the movie really showed Clark’s struggles as a child, but how he overcame his fears to become the hero of Earth.

Did it remind you of any other work in film? I guess the excellent quality of graphics reminded me of Avatar.

To whom would you recommend this movie? Everyone! I thought it was appropriate for all ages, especially the superhero lovers!

Did any of the actors stand out? Yes, Henry Cavill. I have never seen him before, but I thought he played the role very well! Amy Adams was perfect, as always.

Did you identify with any of the characters? Hmm … More like wishing I was Amy Adams for a bit.

Did the soundtrack contribute significantly to the film? Come to think of it, I can’t remember what the song was.

Would you buy this movie when it comes out on DVD? Yes! I love these fun, adventurous movies that I could bust out any day of the week to watch it again. Loved the storyline.

What’s your favorite movie snack? Mud Buddies! I love to get the chocolate-covered gummies – along with some popcorn, of course.

On a different note, what’s new with you? Currently, I am preparing to represent Hawaii at the Miss America pageant in September.
