King: Come See School At Its Best

Parents of fifthand sixth-graders are invited to meet the staff and learn what King Intermediate School has to offer from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 3 in the school library in a program cosponsored by Parents for Public Schools Hawaii.

On the agenda at the campus visit is meeting the administration and support staff, visiting classrooms, and learning about King programs. An RSVP is requested by Nov. 26 to ppshi.org or call Pamela Kino at 233-5727, ext. 231.

Inspired by the “furlough Fridays” following 2009 DOE budget cuts, PPS Hawaii formed as a grass-roots effort of parents to return their children to class. Its mission in part is to “engage parents, students and community in supporting enriched and quality public education.”
