WELCOME TO Kimo’s Vegas … The Player’s Edge!

ELTON JOHN’S latest show at the Colosseum is called “The Million Dollar Piano” after his custom-made Yamaha that cost $1 million … Imagine ivories that cost more than some Hawaii homes! Since it used to be in one of his homes, that gives us a little peek into the rock star’s lifestyle. Did you know each of his pianos is named after female singer? This one is named Blossom after Blossom Dearie. Many are finding the show’s visuals less stimulating (make that offensive) than his previous “The Red Piano” gig.

THE BIG entertainment news from Vegas: Justin Bieber got boo’ed at the Billboard Music Awards … What’s next, people will stop watching reality TV?

THE RATTLER, Constrictor, Hoover Half Pipe, & Royal Flush Extreme slides open for business (Gold Pass holders) this weekend at the new Wet & Wild water park in Las Vegas.

EASILY ONE OF the most loved (Vegas) politicians of all times, ex-Mayor Oscar Goodman, ran the city from 1999 to 2011. He was so popular he even won one election with more than 85 percent of the vote. His resume also included a 35-year run representing organized-crime individuals. His Honor has released a new memoir with plenty inside scoops on Being Oscar: From Mob Lawyer to Mayor of Las Vegas.

PAKALOLO LEGAL in Las Vegas? Advocates of a new Senate bill estimate medical marijuana could bring the state $10 million to $30 million in additional annual revenue. It’s thinking like this that got the government in deep kimchee in the first place … The percentage difference between $1 and $3 is the same as the percentage difference between $10 million and $30 million, but the real difference is I can cover the $2 differential.

LAST YEAR, the airlines collected a total of $6 billion in fees in addition to regular fares.

SENATE BILL 418 failed to gain enough votes in the Judiciary to pass, so we’ll have to wait a little longer before we get to bet on whose gonna be president or the winner of congressional races.

SEVEN OUT: Terrible’s Hotel & Casino new stationery reads Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino … Maybe we should call this cowboy down as workers remove the old (paniolo) sign that’s been dedicated to the Neon Museum.

ADD ANOTHER two hours to your next visit to the Showcase Mall … GameWorks, the arcade on the Vegas Strip next to the M&M’S & Coca-Cola stores, has closed. In its space, shoppers will soon be happy to find Marshall’s.

No worries, the keiki soon will find video game happiness in November when the emporium reopens in Town Square. The new joint will include a bowling alley, laser tag and a restaurant.

HOG HEAVEN … OK, apologies for the bad pun, but what would you call an $18 million, two-story, 50,000-square-foot Harley Davidson dealership on the Las Vegas Strip?
