Keiki Elements
Jaclyn Carreira always loved to sew and create things, and she grew up wanting to be a fashion designer. But it wasn’t until after having her third child that she decided to pursue that dream and started a line of minky travel and security blankets.
Initially called BeloBe Baby, Carreira started carrying her items at craft fairs on Hawaii Island, where she was living at the time. The response was positive, and she slowly added new products each year. In 2011, she moved back to Oahu and the next year renamed her company to Keiki Elements, adding stroller liners, reusable diapers with matching screen printed T-shirts, hats and more. She also has been designing apparel, including dresses, aloha shirts and tank tops for children age 2 to 8; which she plans to launch in May.
