Alaka‘i Volleyball Club’s 15U team earned second place out of 18 teams in the Division I Gold Bracket of the three-day Aloha Summer Classic Volleyball Tournament held at Hawai’i Convention Center. Kailana Tong-Matthews, 9, took first place at the T&C Surf Grom Contest in the girls longboard division (ages 6-9). A multi-sport athlete, Tong-Matthews is also a jiujitsu national champion.

The Whitfield SG 07 boys soccer team captured first place in its age division at the recent 2018 Crossfire Challenge, which was held in Redmond, Washington.
