O‘ahu Junior Golf Association alumni teamed up with present OJGA members for the OJGA Alumni/Junior golf tournament presented by Asao Golf Aug. 6 at Mililani Golf Club. Participants wore a black ribbon in memory of Hall of Fame golfer Lance Suzuki.

The Knight’s Isshin-Ryu Karate of Kailua earned nine medals at the 2017 Hawai‘i Martial Arts Group Karate Tournament at Manoa Valley Recreation Center June 10, including a sweep in the Youth Weapons Division with Val taking first, Tanner earning second and Gabe placing third.

Congratulations to the Wai-Kahala Mets for winning the 2017 Hawai‘i Kai, Waimanalo and KAC Pinto baseball tournaments. The 76 South boys basketball team in ‘Ewa Beach, led by coaches Leo, Brian and James, took first in division play at the AAU Grand Finale tournament in Las Vegas this past July.
