James Campbell Co. Grants $250,000 To Area Public Schools

The James Campbell Company recently donated a total of $250,000 to nine West Oahu area schools to support their capital and technology needs.

The checks were presented to each school at the Mele and Hula at Lanikuhonua concert.

The donations were as follows: Kapolei High School, $45,000; Kapolei Middle, $45,000; Kapolei Elementary, $25,000; Barbers Point Elementary, $25,000; Makakilo Elementary, $25,000; Mauka Lani Elementary, $25,000; James Campbell High, $20,000; Nanakuli High and Intermediate, $20,000; and Waianae High, $20,000

“We cannot overstate the impact this donation will have on our schools and our students,” stated Kapolei High principal Elden Esmeralda.

“The James Campbell Company’s support over so many, many years has truly made it possible for our students to achieve academic success by making sure they have the right tools and the right environment to learn.”

“These West Oahu schools are making tremendous strides in preparing our young people for success,” pointed out Richard Dahl, Campbell Co. chairman and CEO, “and we are pleased to support their efforts.”
