Endowment For JABSOM Doctors
Drs. Christina Bell and Kamal Masaki are the inaugural recipients of the Victor and Peggy Brandstrom Pavel Endowed Professors in Medicine. The $1.88 million endowment is part of the Pavels' $11.5 million estate gift to University of Hawaii Foundation. The funds will support the doctors' effort in training and research in geriatric medicine at John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM).
