Honoring Korean War Veterans

Hanna Kim, ambassadress of Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation in Washington D.C., visited the Korean War Memorial at the State Capitol where “We are the Veterans of the Korean War” was sung by chapter members. Kim also presented a $2,000 check to help defray expenses for construction of a Wall of Remembrance, where approximately 36,000 names of veterans who died in the Korean War will be engraved. Dole Donates To Waialua Robotics

Dole Plantation presented a $10,000 donation to Waialua High & Intermediate Shool’s robotics program. The program’s four members of the class of 2018 also received plaques from state Rep. Lauren Matsumoto.
