Library Patron Receives Grand Prize

Cindy Yoshida (center), an adult reader at Mililani Public Library, is the grand-prize winner of the 2025 Hawai‘i State Public Library Summer Reading Challenge. Youth Baseball Takes A Swing For HUGS

Proceeds from the Kaizen Winter Bash Tournament were donated recently to Help, Understanding & Group Support (HUGS). Kaizen Winter Bash is a youth baseball tournament for 8-year-old and under players. A portion of the proceeds raised by the tournament is donated to a local nonprofit that benefits keiki in the community.
