Donation Supports Maui In Time Of Need

Longs Drugs/CVS Health donated $25,000 to support Red Cross of Hawai‘i’s recovery efforts for Maui. In addition, it contributed $10,000 to World Central Kitchen, which began serving meals to the hardest-hit areas the day after the fires started. Credit Union Gives Back, Serves Meals

Hawai‘i Central Federal Credit Union staff members recently volunteered at Institute for Human Services to help serve meals to the homeless. On average, IHS prepares and serves 1,000 meals a day. In addition to meal services, IHS provides health care, employment, housing stabilization, homeless outreach and other specialized services.
