Red Cross Receives Water Donation

American Red Cross of Hawai‘i received three pallets of bottled water from the Ke‘eaumoku Walmart store earlier this year. The donation helped replenish the organization’s emergency supplies. ‘Iolani Senior Wins Scholarship Contest

Emily Tom, a senior at ‘Iolani School, was presented with a Veterans of Foreign Wars certificate and a $500 check at O‘ahu Veterans Center. She won first place honors for the 2021 VFW Department of Hawai‘i Voice of Democracy recorded audio contest. Her submission — Is This the Country the Founders Envisioned? — was entered in the national competition.
