Happy To ‘Bee’ A Civics Success

The Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i, with support from presenting sponsor Honolulu Star-Advertiser, recently hosted the second annual National Civics Bee Hawai‘i State Finals at Kaimukī High School. Capturing top honors was Moanalua Middle School’s Hailey S. (far right), who received a $1,000 prize and will go on to represent Hawai‘i at the national event in Washington, D.C., this fall. Company Supports Red Cross Mission

Island Energy Services LLC, the exclusive licensee of the Texaco brand in Hawai‘i, donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross Hawai‘i Chapter in support of disaster response. The company’s Red Cross Round Up Campaign gave Texaco customers the opportunity to top off their purchases and make direct donations at checkout.
