Kaiser Grants Promote Well-being Of Keiki, Kūpuna

Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i has awarded $111,777 in community benefit grant funding to two organizations working to create healthier habits for Hawai‘i’s youth and seniors. American Diabetes Association received $25,000 for its Imagine Project Power program. The funds will help transition this initiative, which educates keiki ages 7-13 about lifelong healthy practices. Kula No Na Po‘e, meanwhile, received $86,777 for its Kūpuna Community Care Network, which serves Native Hawaiian kūpuna from Papakōlea, Kewalo and Kalawahine Hawai‘i homesteads.
