Diagnostic Lab Expands, Holds Blessing

Diagnostic Laboratory Services Inc. celebrated the recently completed expansion and renovation of its Kuakini location with a blessing. As the largest locally owned medical lab in Hawai‘i, DLS provides state-of-the-art testing in microbiology, molecular and toxicology. Grant Will Help Strengthen ‘Ohana

The Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i recently awarded Family Programs Hawai‘i with a grant for $50,000 for its Family Strengthening Center. The funding will support the organization’s mission of providing culturally, socially and economically diverse children and their families with quality mental health care and support services. Keiki Day Returns To Much Fanfare

Parents And Children Together and Honolulu Star-Advertiser joined forces to celebrate the return of Keiki Day on May 9 following a three-year hiatus. More than 30,000 special edition newspapers were distributed for free at schools across O‘ahu and at select locations in downtown Honolulu featuring original artwork and stories from student winners of the Keiki Day Creativity Contest themed “Inspire Hawaii’s Future.” Gov.
