Hawai‘i Realtors Make ‘RAD’ Donation To Schools

As students, teachers and staff returned to classrooms, Hawai‘i REALTORS helped fulfill schools’ needs for PPEs as part of its annual Realtor Action Day. A statewide professional trade organization for the industry, its annual RAD event is a way to give back to the community. Since 2018, RAD volunteers have worked on improvement projects at 18 schools. Pandemic restrictions forced the group to cancel most in-person projects, so it opted to use the funds to donate PPEs instead. On O‘ahu, in addition to donations to ‘Ilima Intermediate, Waiāhole Elementary and Kaiser High schools, realtors also gifted 300 face masks and 12 packs of sanitizing wipes to Jefferson Elementary School.
