Academy Goes Above And Beyond

Holy Family Catholic Academy raised $21,407.51 for the American Heart Association’s Kid’s Heart Challenge. The organization exceeded its initial goal of $19,500, setting a new school record for the annual event. Students Receive Funds For Their Futures

Made possible through a partnership between Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association, Honolulu-Star Advertiser and the state Department of Education, the Citizen-Scholars Awards honors one outstanding senior from each DOE school $1,000 to go toward the institution they are to attend in the fall. Additionally, a top Citizen-Scholar in each county is selected ($2,500 each), as well as an overall male and female Citizen-Scholar ($5,000 each).
