Aloha Fuels Polynesian Voyaging

Aloha Petroleum Ltd. recently presented a $10,000 check to Polynesian Voyaging Society, a nonprofi t that aims to educate students and communities about traditional voyaging and exploration. The funds were raised through a canister collection program held at participating Aloha Island Mart stores around the state — Aloha Petroleum then matched the donations. Homeownership Just Got Easier

First Hawaiian Bank Foundation (FHBF) presented a $75,000 check to Hawaii Home Ownership Center (HHOC). The funds will be given over a three-year period. It will be used to help homebuyers attain sustainable homeownership via classes and individualized coaching.
