Nakayama Receives TIAA Award

Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA) named Pālolo Chinese Home CEO Darlene Nakayama a TIAA Difference Maker 100 Honoree and presented her with a check for $10,000. Kāhala Nui Supports Senior Services

As part of its ongoing Social Accountability Program, Kāhala Nui donated $240,087 to Aloha United Way in support of organizations that provide much needed support and services to Hawai‘i’s k˛puna. The funds were distributed among K~hala Nui’s five community partner organizations: Alzheimer’s Association of Hawai‘i, Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i Meals on Wheels, K˙kua Kalihi Valley and Project Dana.
