Aloha Petroleum Donates To AccesSurf

Aloha Petroleum donated $6,499.60 to AccesSurf, a nonprofit organization that creates community-based programs for anyone with a disability to enjoy the water. The funds were raised through the company’s ongoing canister collection program at statewide participating Aloha Island Mart stores. Kaiser Gives To Diabetes Association

Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i donated $10,000 to American Diabetes Association in recognition of the outstanding volunteer efforts of Anne LaPorte, an endocrinology nurse and certified diabetes educator at Kaiser Permanente’s Honolulu medical office. LaPorte is the third of six employees to be recognized for their volunteer service, with the opportunity to donate $10,000 to a nonprofit of their choice, in celebration of Kaiser Permanente’s 60th anniversary in Hawai‘i.
