Little League Leaves A Big Impression

Grant Improves Village’s Utility Services

Nareit Foundation presented a grant of $72,548 to The Institute for Human Services to improve water utility services for the 144 affordable housing units at Kahauiki Village. The grant will help pay for the complete replacement of blackwater pump floats that maintain a clean water utility system for sanitation needs. Hotel Makes An Environmental Impact

The Kāhala Hotel & Resort and Kamehameha Schools honored individuals and groups dedicated to environmental and cultural stewardship of Maunalua Bay at the first-ever Memories of the Maile Room Gala. This event was part of The Kāhala Initiative for Sustainability Culture and the Arts , a resort initiative to protect and preserve O‘ahu’s land, ocean and culture.
