Wells Fargo Gives $15,000 To Habitat

Honolulu Habitat for Humanity is one of more than 220 Habitat organizations awarded a grant from Wells Fargo as part of a nationwide initiative to help low-to-moderate income families construct and improve homes across the country. Honolulu Habitat for Humanity will receive $15,000 and use the funding to build a single-family home in Papakōlea that will be home to three generations of the Kalaluhi family.

Wishes Come True With Donation

Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i partnered with Subaru Hawai‘i as one of the beneficiaries of the car company’s 10th annual “Share the Love” sales event campaign, which resulted in a $10,000 donation for the organization. “We’re so proud to have been a beneficiary of Subaru Hawai‘i’s Share the Love event,” states Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i president and CEO Trini Kaopuiki Clark. Atlas Gives To Goodwill Goes Glam

Atlas Insurance Agency Foundation donated $10,000 to Goodwill Hawai‘i for its virtual Goodwill Goes Glam event in July. For the past eight years, Atlas has sponsored this fashion show, with proceeds going directly toward helping residents who are looking for jobs through training, education and support. Spare Change Makes A Difference For CFS

City Mill presented Child & Family Service with a check on Sept. 23 for $35,000 — all from the retailer’s August spare change round-up event for the nonprofit’s Marathon of Quarters initiative. The campaign was conducted on O‘ahu at City Mill, Simply Organized and Simply Garden locations. Spectrum Helps Red Cross

Spectrum and its Spectrum Employee Community Grants program donated $10,000 to American Red Cross Hawai‘i. The SECG grant will help the organization maintain services, recruit and train volunteer disaster responders, and share disaster preparedness information through community education outreach.
