A Sizeable Donation For DVAC

The Domestic Violence Action Center recently received a donation of more than $24,000 from First Hawaiian Bank as part of its annual Kōkua Mai employee giving campaign. Funds Will Create Community Room

The YMCA of Honolulu has received a combined $425,000 donation to support the creation of the Central Pacific Bank Foundation Community Room at the new, reimagined Nu‘uanu YMCA. The contribution comprises a $250,000 grant from the Central Pacific Bank Foundation, a $75,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund, and a $100,000 personal donation from Arnold Martines, Central Pacific Bank chairman, president and CEO, and his wife, Thuy Martines. Officials representing the organizations (pictured) gathered at the check presentation event to celebrate the occasion.

Nonprofit Gets Funds For Kūpuna

TY Realty has presented a $5,000 check to Pālolo Chinese Home, a donation that will help support the nonprofit in skilled nursing and rehabilitation, adult residential care and hospice service.
