Group Provides Decades Of Service To FilCom

For the past 20 years, volunteer group Himig at Indak has dedicated its Sundays to cleaning the grounds of the Filipino Community Center in Waipahu. Pictured are directors Roland and Edith Pascua (couple to the left), who received a certificate of appreciation in the past from the center for their exemplary commitment to community service, and other volunteer members. FilCom’s mission is to “develop, own and operate a community center that provides social, economic and education services, and to promote and perpetuate Filipino culture and customs in the state of Hawai‘i.”
