Hospice Makes Donation To Medical Center
Islands Hospice recently donated $5,000 to Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children through its employee giving program, Makana Pono. The contribution was made in honor of Makana Pono Award winner and certified nursing assistant Annie Spencer (front row, fourth from left). Awardees are chosen quarterly and get to pick which nonprofit to donate to. Spencer selected Kapi‘olani because of its commitment to caring for Hawai‘i’s youngest and most vulnerable patients.
