Funds Provide Safe Homes, Support

Nareit Hawai‘i recently presented nonprofit Domestic Violence Action Center with a $10,000 grant for its Hale Fund, which provides survivors of abuse with support and housing opportunities. Meals Spread Joy In Chinatown

Volunteers from Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawai‘i and Chinatown808 distributed meals to residents at Senior Residence at Iwilei during the holiday season. The meals, which were purchased at Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery in Chinatown, were provided courtesy of Chef Hui through a partnership with The Julia Child Foundation.
