Honolulu Community College Fashion Show

The University of Hawaii Honolulu Community College Fashion Technology Program presents Le Reve “The Dream” A Fashion Showcase April 28 at the HCC Marine Education & Training Center at Sand Island.

On the runway will be fashions by the eight graduating seniors: Ramie Sagisi, Carmen Lee, Meredith Cliff, Jessica O’Neill, Stephanie Sanders, Rose Wolfe, Ryan Ota and Jessica Cabal. There also will be a silent auction including items by Project Runway season 8 designers Andy South and Casanova, as well as HCC graduate Reise Kochi.

“There is definitely a wide range as there is every year, but no group of seniors is ever the same,” notes South, who is producing the show. “Interestingly enough, one of the collections is menswear, which we haven’t had before. And strong points of view in swim to ready-to-wear. There also will be a bridal display that evening.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and include heavy pupu. Tickets can be purchased by mail to HCC-Fashion Technology Program, 874 Dillingham Blvd. Honolulu, HI 96817 (make check payable to Fashion Society) or during school hours on the HCC campus, Building 27, Room 203/209.
